We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable, and reliable technology infrastructure that supports our clinical and business operations.

Position Summary

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and automation processes. This role collaborates with software developers, IT staff, and stakeholders to improve system reliability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across production and non-production environments.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using industry-standard tools.
  • Automate operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Configure and maintain containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
  • Manage system backups, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity procedures.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve release processes and system reliability.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, access management, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as required.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Knowledge of networking, security principles, and system monitoring.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience supporting healthcare or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and security requirements.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Compensation

Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and written communication.
